Crianza wine Valdelana is a Rioja red wine from Spain. It has a bright red cherry color. Very clean and complex in the nose, you can feel the power of the fruit. This Crianza is very well balanced with the fine touch of oak. In the mouth it is full and powerful with an elegant and fine after taste. It is produced with 90% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano and 5% Mazuelo grapes from their own vineyards located in the sub-region of Rioja Alavesa. The grapes are destalked and after that they are sent to stainless steel vats where they ferment at controlled temperature of 28°C for 18 days. Then the Crianza wine is aged in new oak barrels for 12-18 months. The barrels are 50% French and 50% American oak. The wine rounds up in the bottle for another year. It's a nice Rioja wine at a nice price.
