Tinto de Toro Liberalia Tres 2003 is the result of a pampered elaboration of the Tempranillo grapes from Liberalia's own old vineyards. The quality of these aged vines, crucial for the elaboration of reserves, also generate young wines of extraordinary quality. Liberalia Tres 2003 has a process of maturation in a bordelesa cask that reasserts its personality, makes it lasting and alive with all its attributes. This process also polishes the wine. Expect a clean and intense cherry color, bright and shiny, with blue shades of indigo, violet and purple. It has a fine nose, clean and distinguished. With a delicate wood background of vanilla, cinnamon and roasted notes, it has lots of fruit, with tastes of berry, blackberry, raspberry and a light touch of liquorice. Liberalia Tres is very ample and strong with a soft and long palate and a wide range of flavors and sensations, and a nice balance of acidity. It is all backed up by tannin that gives it a full consistency and mouthfeel. Its maturation in wood permits the wine to improve while in the bottle, and to age and improve the conditions of consumption during a period of six years. It is recommended to accompany red meats, cured cheeses and stews.

Liberalia is a family owned vineyard located in the prestigious area of the Denominación de Origen Toro, in the province of Zamora, Spain. Liberalia started its production of singular and high quality wines in the year 2000. Previously and since 1996, Juan Antonio Fernández, the owner, faithful to his career as agricultural engineer, acquired and organized the vineyards, whose ages range between 30 and 100 years old. The vineyard is located in fields where the traditional crop has been the vine. The variety is Tinta de Toro, which is an adaptation to the terroir of the variety Tempranillo or Tinto Fino. The family is also the owner of native and ancestral white grapes vineyards, which include the following varieties: Moscatel de Grano Menudo, Malvasía, and Albillo.
