Special Reserve Vizconde de Ayala Reserva 1998 is a Rioja wine of excellent constitution. Produced with 100% Tempranillo grapes, it is garnet red in color and has subtle toasty aromas in harmony with red and black fruits. Reserva 1998 has good body, very balanced, with a long velvety finish. This special reserve wine is produced carefully with a fermentation that includes 20 days of maceration at a temperature between 27 and 30 C. It is then aged one year in American oak barrel, and then a minimum of 2 years in bottle. Since it is unfiltered, it is advisable to leave the bottle at rest 15 days after it has been transported.
