The Champagnes of Louis de Sacy in Verzy are classified 100% within the French classification that measures the fine quality of the wines. No wonder it's the preferred Champagne in France. The Sacy family can be traced back as far back as 1633 in Verzy, France. At that time Bartelemy Sacy owned a vineyard at "The Champ Saint-Rémi" near Verzy that is situated in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. Since then the family has lived in Verzy and cultivates 20 hectares (75 acres) of grapes and produces Champagne of the highest quality. In recent years the Sacy family has made a major investment in redeveloping the production facility and is proud of their ability to produce Champagne of superb quality using modern techniques, yet maintaining the traditional values and skills of wine making that has been passed on from generation to generation. The winery, situated on the hill side twenty kilometers from Reims, is one of the three "Grand Regions" of Champagne called La Montagne de Reims.

RATING: Due to the limited amount of bottles produced and high demand, this wine was not submitted to rating publications.
